Waste to wonder park (Robot Park)

 Robot  park in sector 48 of Chandigarh, spread over  1.75 acres. This park includes various structures made of  industrial and other waste products like  iron sheets, rods, fans, automobile parts etc. An 18-feet-tall sculpture of modular man by Le Corbusier, a sculpture of an outdoor metal lighting tower, a sculpture of a stone family, robotic sculptures are the main attraction of this park. 

In addition to this, the entry gate, benches and even the bricks in the edges of plant beds are made of bricks procured from the construction and demolition (C&D)waste recycling plant.  

This park is a best example of “how to use waste product” for a great creativity.

 Inaugurated on 13 April 2023, this park become a landmark of the surrounding areas in a very short time
