The Rose Garden located in sector 16, Chandigarh is also known as Zakir Hussain Rose Garden. The garden has not only Roses, but also trees of medicinal value. It is also known as botanical garden. This garden has a huge verity of Roses. It is a open garden with no entry fee, it is one of the main attractions of Chandigarh, a huge water fountain with colorful lights is also spot of attraction of this place, an open gym is also installed over here. One can enjoy the beauty of nature by coming here, paths are very beautifully designed it is the largest rose garden of continent.

The best time to visit this garden is between the months of February and March, The famous Rose Festival also takes place during these months.

It is very easy to reach Rose garden as it is very close to sector 17, bus stand. Santi kunj and Leisure Valley are also places to visit near this garden. One can also enjoy shopping in sector 17.
